
The atmospheric phenomenon "Sara" has reached the coast of northern Honduras, accompanied by heavy rains in Central America.
According to the National Center for Hurricane Research in Miami, on the evening of last Thursday, the storm struck the coast approximately 165 kilometers to the northwest of "Cabo Gracia de Dios" on the border of Honduras and Nicaragua, not far from the locality "Brus Laguna" with a population of about 13 thousand people, and there are no other large population centers in this area. Mexican authorities warned that the storm could cause heavy rains on the tourist peninsula of Yucatan.
The wind speed of storm "Sara" reached about 75 kilometers per hour, and its movement was directed to the west at a speed of about 17 kilometers per hour.
